Maike A Hege

I am a PhD student in Neuroscience at the Institute of Medical Psychology and Behavioural Neurobiology and the fMEG Center at the University of Tübingen. My interests are focused on cognitive control mechanisms of eating behavior related to obesity and eating disorders. In particular, I am interested in inhibitory and attentional control and investigate these mechanisms with Magnetoencephalography and functional magnetic resonance imaging.

In the Nudge‐it project, we will focus on the optimization of neuroimaging in food choice. I will be mainly involved in the M/EEG research for an improved temporal resolution of the responses of higher cortical areas involved in food choice and how they are modulated by hunger and satiety.
